    The cutting time for waterjet is depending on material and the thickness thereoff. As accuracy has a serious influence.
    More holes add cutting time, as blow-trough takes more time that cutting itself.

    Setup time is another cost that is added.

    I recently coughed up €150 for 2 disks in 8mm thin Cruesabro 4800. But that was lasercut

    Just curious, why would you laser cut a disk when it ha problems of overheating the material causing changes it it's hardness potentially making the disk brittle when water jet cutting doesn't have this problem? Is the hardening caused by the laser cutting useful as it stops the disk from blunting?
