Thread: Sidewinder ESC

I personally beg to differ, but then again the victors suit my 'binary driving' style as Mario puts it. Maybe they're not as precise as some controllers, but for those motors I think they would suit his purpose, and take up less room than a sidewinder.

Think they are prity close dave. The side winder is really dam small and light. 350grams.
Victor I would need is most likely the 883s at 110 grams each. Plus the BEC and the mixer will add a bit to that.

But yeah, the 85as should do the job hopefully. Really impressive if they do. Ordered 3 for the same price as a victor.

I would like to try these 85A controllers too, is there anyone doing hacked versions of them in the UK yet?

I think Gary and a few others have the tools and the experience hacking the origanal brushless speed controller. But has mentioned that doing conversions and selling them over here in the UK would be a major spit in the face of the origanal hacker and retailer.
Think it would be morally fine if some one setup a partnership of some kind

The code is open source, but you couldn't sell on controllers using it as it doesn't cover commercial use. So you either have to hack your own, write your own code, or buy from BotsBitz.

The BotzBits guys need a UK re-seller, someone to store a job lot and distribute them from the UK.
