Bearing carriers and CNC work finished this week.

Plan for next week is to have the base plate and all nylon parts done on Monday, mount a servo to the tail and do the electronics on Tuesday, re-fabricate the bearing carriers as their slightly misaligned causing the bulkheads to felx and do the armour on Wednesday, submit Thursday.

What could go wrong!

A crazy mad dash to the finish, it's about 90% there. No armour and I blew the high torque servo that moves the tail. I'll finish it properly over the summer.

Loving the stingray-esque look to it, also sorta Warhead/Predator-esque minus the disc (must be the tail). Very nice work

The capture rate of your phone, and the rpm of the disk is just right so that the disk looks like it's turning backwards very slowly!

When I was designing I knew I wanted something a bit different, part of my brief was that it included some theatrical element to engage school kids and get them excited about building their own. Hopefully the tail / disk combo will do that.

PJ and I were having a think a wondered if there are any other machines with 2 active weapons?
