Electric Crusher/Pincer strength?

Deciding the hammer was too bold a move for what I was doing, I decided to go for the slightly easier Electric Crusher.

So, I plan to make my own claw, and use a Gimson GLA-S on 18v. How much power would that be? Just enough to hold things?

Depends on leverage. if you use the complete stroke of the GLA-S to move a claw 1mm, that claw will pierce anything, but only for 1 mm.
