I know it's extremely short notice but does anybody have a lipo charger they could let me borrow or sell to me at burgess hill as I just went to charge my lipo and the charger seems to be detecting the wrong temperature and stops charging as soon as it begins. Preferably one that can plug into the mains as I don't have a power supply.

Yeah, for some reason it detects that it's overheating when it clearly isn't since it hasn't started charging yet.
I think it will be your charge over heating rather than the pack. I've not known cheap chargers to take temperature when charging lipos. They always go on the cell voltage and balance appropriately
Surely the charger wouldn't overheat as soon as it starts charging?
Well ask yourself this, do you stick a temperature probe into the lipo anywhere before charging or do your lipos come with temperature probes already installed that you hook up to the charger?
