Been doing some research into all this. The only way to get proper mixing like you'd want on a bot would be to use a Spektrum DX8. The Hobbyking set is a bit better in terms of the mixing.

I'd love to use a v-tail mixer but dont people have issues with them at the higher ends of their throws like Ellis said?
