Thread: Which would be better?

My only amendment is not to bother with a fuse holder, just solder it directly into the circuit and cover the terminals with electrical tape. Will save you about 80g and takes up less space.

Before I go buying, which would seem preferred? Upping the motor capacity or dropping the battery voltage?

Higher voltage motors running at their designed voltage often have more torque than lower voltage motors running at their designed voltage. So from that, you may be more interested in upping your motors. That said I imagine the difference in the arena will be negligible.

Also remember that you're never going to get super high performance if you're running (I assume) two NiMH packs in series. In effect a single pack's worth of discharge capacity is powering everything in the machine. Probably fine if all you have is two drive motors, but not much more.

Its just 2 drills right now, the next upgrade would be lipo

Scrap two of the wheels. Turning a 6wd machine is very tough as you have to skid 4 wheels. 4wd the turning stress is less.

    6 wheels is fun though
