Hello does anyone have any god ideers for a removable link, pluss does the power LED have to be on the surface of the robot or can it be under the cover as it is a see through lexan cover, thank you.
take a deans connector, solder a loop of wire across the male wire side. Then solder the female side into your wire loom between your batteries and main power distribution.
The LED just has to be visible. Through polycarb will be fine.
thank you, additionally were is a good place to put this, i know their insent a relay good place but is their any ware better than others.
Difficult to give more than a general answer without understanding the shape of your robot
Think about the accessibility of it e.g. can the robot drive both ways up or is there an obvious right way up
What are the weapon systems. How can the link be placed so harm is avoided if the link needs to be removed
Leave enough space so that big fingers (gloved) can pull the link
Don't leave it so exposed that another robot can snag it
Look at lots of pictures…..
