It has a roof!! Its making me laugh how battered the stuff I make looks even before it's had a fight! A by-product of using recycled bits I suppose I'm thinking about making some sides and giving it a lick of paint, umming and arring about bright pink or orange!
Looks great so far, but some side protection may be advisable to protect against horizontal spinners.
Thanks for the reply! I'm making some side bumpers that will cover up the wheels and open gaps etc. I ran out of angle after making one so just on the scavenge for a bit more from somewhere lol
I'm not planning on entering against spinners, I know this wouldn't be strong enough and I see that as the upper levels of robot fighting. I'm planning on entering this next year in some random events and if I do fairly ok I'll build something hardcore to come and batter the spinners with
I really need to learn to weld.

Managed to scavenge some more angle. The more I add to the robot the worse it gets haha. Anyway, side bumpers added. 12V LED is on the way, cash is moving to Paypal for a Robochallenge removable link and I'm going to buy some paint for it on Friday. I'm planning on painting it lime green or orange over the weekend. At the weekend I'm also going to sign up to the Doncaster Dome event and will be coming along with my brother and his friend as part of my team lol as the old man is on holiday. Oh and we've been bidding on a lecky wheel chair and have obtained an empty CO2 fire extinguisher bottle! Latest pic of ramshackleness...and potty. And stray socket set. Oh and I've started shortening bolts! Also I've become a paid up member of the FRA!

If you're looking at a good paint job, I would suggest doing the body in green. Paint the spear red and continue a red stripe running over the top, then it would match the tyres.
That sounds really cool! I was going to leave it as-is but decided it looks too much of a state to not paint it lol. I'd thought about black with neon green highlights like Karkas
That's not a bad idea. Were you still planning on putting lights inside it?
Yeah was thinking about it but I would also need proper LED's as a power indicator.
Fair enough.
I forgot to ask, how did you come up with the name?
