I've had the same problem with radio link sets, and had two receivers die and then the transmitter gave up. but i have never had an issue with my Planet t5, although the display came broken, and i never got round to returning it, but that's the only issue with mine. that and the thin plastic receiver cover eventually wears out but tape fixes that.
