Has Ceri Jenkins been in contact about the motors Ewan? He also had 2 random failures during the champs.

Any insight as to what you are building in place of Boner?

I think kaizer took more of a direct hit on the innards.

I'm planning on something that hasn't been seen in a featherweight arena before.

Later on it did, but between us finishing the robot and driving it problem free around the workshop, and when it drove across the arena for the start of the fight, one motor failed before anything hit it.

Still got the motor? Might be worth doing what i did and take the rear panel off and seeing if one of brushes has gone

As Gary says, although before that it would be useful to have checked for free rotation off the gearbox and that there isn't any swarf/debris inside the motor. For this threads sake it'd probably be best if you could PM/email me about that.
