    Some of the RoboChallenge guys use Mtronics, and I use them in my Buggy. There's only a couple that are suitable for our use though, and the amp ratings seem to be peak. Very small though, but I concluded there were better options for the money.

    Yes they do, except as the arena is of higher spec you can run spinners.

    The Scot-Bot kits are built to the Featherweight weight limit, with the planned upgrades that will be available soon it should be almost bang on the weight limit, the basic kit is around 11kgs.

    I wouldn't say they were expensive, cheap for what they are and they can be really competitive, especially the 4WD one with no chance of losing money on trial and error stuff. Theres some videos of the 2WD ones at last years years UK HW Championships on youtube somewhere. Good first bot to have as its not as dangerous as some yet still definitely not a toy

    I'm sure I have a spare charger kicking around somewhere too, so whoever orders one of the 4WD ones first that needs a charger they can have it for nothing, just let me know if you decide you want one I really want to see them being used at events.
