What a start to the year. A big thanks once again to Jonno and the Robot Wars Crew for making it a great event once again. Congratulations to Will with Maelstrom winning both trophies.TR2 worked very well for its debut event,a few mods to make before next weekend should see it that little bit better.Looking forward to it already.

Saint did OK bust the drive on one side but fixed OK, thanks for everyone's help.

Pilgrim worked fine good to get it out and about again.

the feathers did ok but both stopped for some reason got them back to the bench and worked fine. I do hate that!

Kettlebot worked fine there is a issue with the control loosing it's center point reference but it's something I new about and will fix when I have time.

We had the same problem with our featherweight, it just went dead half way through the fights and worked fine once out of the arena, someone using an ECM?

What a start to the year !!

Well the first Robot Wars event of 2013 is over and finally I€™m back to life and ready to move on to Portsmouth. You know you€™re tired when it takes 3 attempts to watch top gear and you fall asleep !!!

Thank you to all those who attended and support us, and the comments about our franchise has been very encouraging.

Our guest presenter had a brilliant time, and hopefully we will see him back again as the duo banter between Mark and Chris was very entertaining.

Congratulations to Maelstrom who has started the year well with taking both trophies home, both the Grudge Match with Explosion and the event win!!! You really still building a new heavyweight Will ??? :-) .

1st - Maelstrom.
2nd - Ripper, lost on a the judges decision.
3rd - Kronic, ran out of gas.
4th - Thor, got stuck on the sidewall.

Some great fights, really entertaining feather weight battles too.

Work has now started with the big brand change for Portsmouth so looking forward to seeing you there. Tickets are already selling well so hopefully its going to be a great weekend with our foreign cousins in a few weeks !!
