About a year ago I bought some pull back toys to turn into ants. Sir Killalot seemed like a good one to miniaturise, so here's my post build, build diary.

The most compact robot I've ever assembled. (The walls of the micro servos had to be filled to get them to fit!)
At 225g he's a bit fat to fight, but it took so long to piece him together I'm not too fussed that he wont get broken apart.
That is awesome!!! It must have been really hard to fit it all in there!
You should try to make the drill bit spin aswell
Thanks Max.
I did fit a tiny motor into the arm, you can see the wires coming out of the shoulder in the first pic, but there was no room for a gear box so it burnt out almost immediately.
That's awesome! Impressed you got the arm and claws moving.
Now get the other arm moving and the lance spinningYou forgot to mention that the claws are Ti.
Thats awsome! I'm making a Growler one at the moment ill get some photos up when i can.
That's the motor I was thinking of. Told you there was a geared motor that size http://www.gizmoszone.com/shopping/a...eries;ppinc=1b
I can't believe anyone's been able to make a planetary gearbox with a 6mm dia!
I just tried to order the 40 RPM version, but their out of stock. I'll keep checking in though, thanks for that.
