Technically it would be in the featherweight class but at only just over two Kilograms I think I'll just let run around outside the arena!

After many years of faithful service it is about time to replace Seraph with a new machine, the reason is the old one is getting tatty and you either rebuild or just make another machine. Gabriel was never very successful so the drive from that is going to be the start of the new Seraph

I decided two motors was not enough so I am going to try to marry four motors shared between two wheels!! also I am looking for inspiration for the shape of the new Saint so make the feather and then see how the shape works for the heavyweight. I will keep you posted on the progress.
The battery has arrived 4200 4s LiFe I calculate it should be able to deliver over 120amps It may be a little large for 4 drill motors!! But better to be a little over specification

This is a mock-up of the proposed transmission with the motors and the ratio the theoretical torque is a little over 120Nm each wheel! The speed about 150rpm giving a speed of over 8.5mph This is a bit faster than the old Seraph.

be very interesting to see how that transmission works out
I didn't have any good pictures of Cherub and was thinking of doing a web site in the future so I decided to smarten it up for the public.

I really like the differing chain lengths on the transmission, that's clever! And liking the paint job!
I thought I would give Tron a new paint job beige and purple very Cadillac,I might do a bit more on it like new batteries but for the moment. that will do!

Hi
I was going to upload some pictures but the site won't let me at the moment!!
Anyway I have been doing a little on Spiderbot. I have changed the speed controller from one Sidewinder to another Sidewinder! It's a long and boring storey so I wont go into it now. I did have to fit a BEC as I had disconnected the one in this unit a while ago.
The Sidewinder dose seem to work well in Spiderbot,
Still I had a little trouble with the radio gear it is the cheap Technobots gear, normally I have had no problems with it but today it seemed to keep loosing it's centre, so with the stick in neutral it would creep forward, then a little later with the stick in neutral it would creep backwards. changed the radio to Spectrum DX5e and all is well.
The machine works and I can get my pictures on the forum again, thanks Kane for all your work making this happen.
As always the quiet hero!!
