Hw speed controller

Hi,
I'm after a hw speed controller either for wheelchair motors or iskra 800w- it depends on what I can get hold of and what speed controllers I can get.
I am intested in what the cheapish options are but I'm equally intested in a high quality controller if its good value for money.

4qd do good speed controllers i think they were used alto in robot wars they even do a mixer to attach to a rx

Do you need 1 or 2 4qds ?

you would need 2 unless they have made a new 1 ncc 70 use to be used on robot wars but they seem to have stopped them

looks like the Vortex 75 and 40 have replaced the ncc rage

and it looks like they have updated the rc interface from mine

cheapest option is to get some second hand 4QDs, ask alot of roboteers will have them hanging around as they're pretty old school now, you will also need an interface for them as they won't plug straight into your RX. If you can afford it get a second hand Wotty or Roboteq, but your looking at least £200 for one.
