I had a great event too...Air was in the pit 1st 3 fights but hey wadda ya do. Goliath was impressive and very well built. Dont want to mess with that one too much i tells ya.. Messing about with Tight arsed Tezza with the rc cars was good fun too. we managed to get in the papers with that one...well thats what the man who took pics and vid said. Well done to Mr Lear for his win and being the first winner of the robotslive trophy. also winning a quadcopter .....and £50 was offered but he declined and said to pass it on... what a nice thought.... Would have took the cash myself tho. Might do a 100 prize the next round or an extra £50..will have a chat to Alan and see what he prefers to do. Well done to Maelstrom too..that robot has evolved into a very nice machine indeed. Mr weston gets a big thanks too for sorting out my DX7 and being a good flipper man in the absence of my wingman...cheers for that mate.

Well that's our first big show of the year over, huge thank you to everybody who came, more so to those who left with working robots! We must have set a record for the most amount of breakdowns at the one event!

Well done to Team Shock for taking the title, shame I couldn't take my place in the final, but i'll get you back. Well done to John for taking home the Challenge Trophy, i'll get you back as well!

As always great job by the crew; Ed, Ed, Dave & Dave, thanks to the roboteers that helped out; Lales, Tim, Wendy S and T.A. Terry.

Goliath made his debut, there's more finishing bits to be done for BH, but was nice to give him his first run out, and went down well with the crowd. A 'Hit List' is already being written!

We're off to the NEC and York Railway Museum later this month before we head to Burgess Hill in April, see you there!

P.S. Cheers to Tony for the cakes!
