this 1 is a bit cheaper and more powerfull

and the further back you fit it to the pivot of the lifting arm the quicker the arm will move but the amount it can lift will decrease so its just a case of getting the right balance

but if you on a budget then the car seat ones do work and mondeo ones are probably the easiest to come by

the seat actuator in my bot can lift 20 + kg and it is fitted just over half down the arm from the pivot so if it was right attached right at the front it might be able to lift nearer 40kg

Im really looking into using a car Seat motor in my rambot to act as a half self righter/half slow flipper. seeing as the price is really reasonable and easy to come by. What weights have you tried lifting with them?

This seems my simplest option due to having no clue on pneumatics

any pictures of it installed in your bot? (sorry im a complete noob)

max weight I've tested so far is 23kg and its manage to lift my other feather up in the air easily
in the pic i just used a couple of bits of angle steel, welded to the bacl of the bot with a hole drilled through

i also re did the hinge because the door 1 bent when it got rammed into a fence in testing
