Looking very good though, this will be great to fight once its done

Should have gone with some screwdriver motors, you'd get way better results.

    (this is mad/brilliant!)

We´ll try to get Brutus ready for Portsmouth ... it will be without a weapon and not it´s final dsign ... first we need about half a year learning to drive Brutus and make it reliable ... in the mean time we´re designing the weapon powered by a permmotor ( a weapon like sewersnake or something in that order) ...

Utterly pointless putting 4 lems on the drive with only 4 wheels. You will never get the power into the ground. Even with tracks you would struggle not to spin them. Seems little point in wasting the money and weight putting 4 lems in when two would more than suffice.

Nice machining but if the base idea is flawed then there is little point in spending the time on it.

pointless to give an answer but you will see why ... overpowering something got no use use ... why built a fullbodyspinner when it is easily to flip ... why built a supertornado when it´s only a pushbox ... that´s where the creativity of each roboteer is ...

Still none the wiser to the thinking behind the machine. I'm not looking to be confrontational, just trying to understand the logic behind building a machine that is obviously so overpowered that it will struggle to use the power it has available.

The thinking has to be just to smash and slam and bludgon the opponents into submission, but I agree with Gary; I can't see you ever getting all the power down even with four full width go-kart tyres. 2 would be more than enough to hit things so hard it could be sent out the arena!

Why buy a Bugatti Veyronwith a 1000Hp+, if a 29Hp 2CV will do the task too?
