Gradually learning.......
Today i found some servos that go at a decent speed and i've decided to use the transmitter and receiver i already have purely because it's cheaper. i've got a Nimh battery but it's quite on the heavy side so i will probably buy a new battery off the internet. I'll probably start a build diary at some point.
I don't think i can do a build diary because the robot is almost done.
What sort of torque servos do people use for a simple flipper/lifter?
Would 6.5kgs stall torque be enough?
I have used as low as 1.6kg/cm in a digital servo with a lifting arm that is 80 mm.
Stewie's flipper servo is 3.6kg and it flips 300g easy on an arm that is 100mm long.
Cheers, the super cheap build coming along well, think I've sourced all the parts for around £30.
