People do run Bosch 12v 400w motors on 24v fine.

That would give you 48v wouldn't it? The way you had before gave 24v I think
Thats what I was thinking Max, and 48v will make it all go bang very quickly. As its not for competition at the moment I could simplify it dramatically by just having 2 links?
simplez
edit: better diagram
Treat the 2 reds as one wire, and the 2 blacks as one wire.
Yes, assuming your batteries are 24v.Originally Posted by Anttazz

Sorry I saw Alan wrote that would give you 12v and I didn't notice in your 1st post you had said 24v batteries !,
Kane and Alan are both right, both 24v packs get connected together red to red, black to black, then the red will go through the link then to the esc, the black will go straight to esc.
If this is for a h/w I would recommend 3 packs in parallel minimum. (9 amp hour ) total.
ignore my diagram, that was for 2x 12v aswel.![]()
very crude pic !
B = 24v batteries
L = 50 amp andersons
L = 175 amp anderson (red one)
S = esc[attachment=0:ccq8lz3t]ESC.GIF[/attachment:ccq8lz3t]
well proud as that was drawn on my mobile phone !
that would be the general layout of wiring in a h/w.
