  1. #1
Sad, sad news that im moving and its a possiblity I may not be able too take it with me

Its a hard choice for me too do this as I love this bot but will stick it up here and see if its worth my while selling him (driving etc) or better finding a place too try and store him

Comes fully working with all spares (Tiers, hubs, replacement wheelchair wheels, 3 bottles one of which is full others are partial/empty, FP pipe line, Spare burket, 1m ish square sheet of 4mm hardox, old 3mm Ti sides) And thats just off the top of my head, more things with it

Will come with lock chain, Rc gear etc.

    Spec:
Drive - Bosch 750w drive at 24v on kart wheels, gives about 12mph
Armour - 8mm T6 (I believe) ali main chassis and sides, 3mm ti top and 4mm Hardox front and back
Weapon - Twin 50mm x 225mm(ish) FP rams running off 2 burket valves

Anyone who knows the history behind the Bulldog Breed series of robots knows this is a great bot with some heritage behind it

Only serious offers please or part ex with feathers and cash

Can't stress enough that this is only a POSSIBLE sale at this time so reserve right too refuse sale etc if circumstances my end change, which I hope they do as I will be very sad too see it go

Had a couple of offers but nothing solid

C'mon everyone, be brave, the worst I can say is no

So being Brave rather than offer, what do you want for Bulldog breed?

    I have funds

Having fought in three of the wars, so I'm used to heavies.

But do I need a Robot?

Having said that the opportunity to own one of the main heavies is a rare one.

I'll admit, I would say yes to a purchase if the price were right! So be brave and PM me the price, I can only say No .

Not as much as you might imagine. Generally they have been doing the circuit for years and the parts inside well worn. Start with a few hundred quid and see how the negotiation goes from there.

I would really suggest you stick with the feathers for a year or so, there is a huge learning curve between the two, and if you get it wrong it costs alot of money not to mention, one wrong move with them and they will seriously hurt you (a hit off a flipper, will easily remove a limb). The other issue with buying them is that, as Gary says, they are normally on there way out, and if you haven't got the skills to build one, you won't be able to maintain it. Trust me, i've bought several heavies in the past, they're normally more hassle than its worth.

I would love to own it, such a great icon of robot wars. i am very new to robots but would agree that a high level of mechanical knowledge and engineering is really required for full on rebuilds.

You'll probably want to wait until Matt comments on whether this offer is still valid or not, it was a while ago he posted it and I think I remember him talking about upgrades a few days ago so maybe the situation has changed.
