ok lads I would like to know if any one can help me out please
I have one of these controller's which I need to mod the problem is the picture is different to solder points onto ie the top corner MOSI and SCK
thanks inadvance
The circuit board is different to the one pictured on the tutorial?! If that's the case, Steve and Aaron at botbitz would probably be the best people to ask.
just adding a pic so Gary can show us![]()
This one perplexed me for a while when I first took a look at the board but it's fairly straight forward. Seems the boards have been updated in the time since that tutorial was written. Image showing soldering locations below.

Just noticed Dan's previous comment. Dan to turn it into a .hex file simply open up notepad, copy and paste the code into the notepad and save it. Rename the file as "file.hex"
Literally that's all that's required
Cheers! Will give it a go
What do you need to program on them, is it settings such as battery type, mixing etc? and how is it actually done.
Thanks
You need a programmer, a soldering iron, good skill with a soldering iron and a computer with the appropriate software. Read through the links ast the start of this thread for details. When we talk about reprogramming we are changing the fundamental program that the speed controller uses. Think of it as changing a computer from windows to linux
