Now that l've come this far I have to try all options before I give up on the tracked concept. The wheels are already flanged, will add the crown and see how it fares, if still not happy then I'll add the slot in the middle of the wheels.... if it still does not work then I'll put the tracks in the bin and put a couple of wheels, end of story! But I do really hope one of these solutions will cure this problem.
