Thread: Roboteq ax2550

  1. #1
Managed too sort the wires out on my roboteq plug after Guildford and have life back in bulldog but currenty on the TX, left is forwards, right is back etc

Can't figure out which end the issue is at as the leads are all in the same channels and the wires have been soldered too the diagram given in the manual

Switch the channels that the rx leads go into over

May we worth another shot but tried that and didnt work the first time :L

  4. #4
Then switch around the motor connections to one of the channels or try reversing the channels on the transmitter

  5. #5
    Ill give that a go

If left is Fwd and right Back, then I'm assuming Up is turn left and Down is turn right?
Just swap over the Rc leads on the Rx.

I may well have wired it up slightly differently too how it originally was but I shall give those different points a go

Had another go at getting Bulldog working again yesterday

Took all the servo leads off and cleaned up all the tabs, followed the diagram given in the Roboteq manual and now it works even less

When the link is in, the valves click as they always do when you power up but the roboteq is completely dead, no power goes too it what so ever, no drive and no flip.

    Any clues?

take it out the robot and bench test it

Matt- do you have a multimeter?

If so, is your roboteq wired up with the red and black mains wires (the thickest ones) going into an Anderson? I guess so...

If that's right, unplug it, set the multimeter to dc volts and check the supply voltage to the roboteq as a start. ( check the side of the plug that goes to the rest of the wiring.... Not the half connected to the roboteq.

With the link in it should read around 24v. If not your problems easy to solve.
