Can somebody please clarify the rule regarding pinning for me please.After 30 seconds does the robot have to drive away or just release it's opponent? And is there a minimum time before it can attack again?

It is not permitted to hold or restrain an opponent for more than 30 seconds, for example, where a hydraulic crushing weapon grips its opponent, or one robot pins its opponent to arena side or floor, to do so is instant disqualification.

I read that as:
Releasing may be good enough if the opponent has the opportunity to get away, ie: wheels on the floor.

Probably need an official verdict, though.

You should ask her on the way there when she's in a good mood. I'd wait till she sees a particularly good Eddie Stobart lorry and then ask her while she's not thinking straight because of the excitement........that's when you strike!! (or you could tell her who's boss, it's you who wears the trousers and she'll do as she's told. That's what i would have said to my ex-wife)
