I'm running speed 900 copies (may get changed out for real 10 pole versions) on 30a electronizes which may get changed out for the TorqueMaster BR-XL escs. Seems to work well on 7.5 to 1 ratio on 120mm wheels

I would be interested to see how the Wotty 100 performs with such high powered motors. Definitely more chance of keeping it alive than Electronizes anyway and Ian can always steer you in the right direction if you need it. It could be the answer to the Sidewinder issue on both price and availability. That and the fact that they can be repaired in the UK without import/export duty.
Robotpower has a certified repair guy in the Netherlands. Ilyama.
Repair of Sidewinders or XXL's ain't an import/export duty issue. But the buying of a new Sidewinder is.
How small is the Wotty 100?
I have a couple of Wotty 100 speed controllers, and I like them I used one in Pilgrim for a while and the other is in Tron. I believe that is one reason this robot pushes so well. The Speedo takes the 4 drill motors by the scruff of the neck and kicks them into battle! I have had the speedo fail at least once but Ian dose such a good service in repair it is never much of an issue.
I think the cost was just under £200 one well worth the investment for me.![]()

Not a bad esc at all, if it comes down too it and I need to buy one, that will be it, try and use what I have though
Going to draw up some rough sketches of a 6WD bot as just cost up etc so see if its possible, may just run the one I have till I gather enough cash to build a proper feather. Too many ifs and buts to say right now though
put your vantec in it
That's now up in Scotland![]()
Roboteq?
For what it's worth, if you're going to run 900's on a low ratio (6:1 or so) on 16v or more I highly recommend victor 883's. Even with a dodgy drive pulling 3 times the amp it should, it's been perfectly fine.
