drill battery packs

How do you get drill packs (batteries) only 1 cell high without damaging them?

not quite sure what you mean but presume you mean how would you make the pack only one cell tall opposed to the current 2??

normal those two cells on top will bend down and sit next to the other cells, if not clip the metal joins and resolder

yes I do mean that, and one does one doesn't

clip and move the other be careful to resolder with the correct polarity

I'll do that and since it's the school holidays I might finish the entire bot by next week

batteries sorted, just waiting for esc's and wheels and I'll be done with building (if it works first time)
