I need a piece of 80x80x3mm steel so I can make a mounting bracket for my ripoff speed 900.
I know steel isn't all that expensive but wondered if anyone had an off cut since the bit I need is so small!

Closest I've got is a piece roughly 100x100 of 5mm steel. Any use?

Anyway, just measured the steel and it's 110mm square aside from one section where it narrows to 75mm. Not sure if that's a problem since you mentioned 80mm in your original post:

If it's suitable, I'll get it posted within the next day or two. Postage again is only a couple of quid so another drink at the NEC will be fine :wink:
P.S. There are small splashes of concrete stuck to the underside of it (the steel is from a turbine base fixings template) but nothing a quick run over with a grinding disc won't fix.
