What about remotely changing during the battle. That way if one tactic doesn't work you can try another. Could also have retractable hooks for stooping them driving straight over
I think you've got your Predator thinking hat on, Jamie. Not every robot has 672 separate moving parts.
I like the idea, of having moving parts, actuators are a nice easy way to do this. I think its about time someone designed and built a new weapon using a wedge. I think a steeper sloping wedge to get underneath them and then do something to them. without them flying off the back. Robot Wars is an art based sport so the more interesting the better.
