    Those look like copies in all respects, only a tad larger in diameter.

    That will pull back the speed to a more managable 35 km/h.

    Still bloody fast tough.

    Those cheapo's run a lot faster than a Graupner Speed 900.

    It seems more types of motor with Speed 900 size are available.

    I have a cheap set that runs 11 krpm @12V, where the original Graupners run around 6650 rpm with the same powersource. (Old Hawker SBS)

    I'd de-solder the terminals and solder directly to the board.

    Just means prying the board off of the metal mount (which is horrible to do!). I'd also get some thermal compound so you can stick it back on properly.
