depends, probably about Â£150-200

Yeh i would say that as well, but I think you could have built one for as little as Â£30 (servo drive etc)

Kookaburra cost me a bit less than 30.

Drill battery-Â£free
2x servos-Â£10
Ally tread plate-Â£1.50 (scrapyard)
Spectrum rx-Â£6
Chopping board-Â£3.50
Wheels-Â£free (off a pushchair I found smashed up)
Bolts-Â£2

Total:Â£23

Of course this is just an example, but it can be done quite cheaply.

My robot will have a spinning disk and it's only costing me Â£27.00 plus a 7.4 v battery only costed Â£2.00!

its an rc car mate, not really a scratch built competitive robot

Great now it's costing me 50 quid more so it's all together costing me 78 quid

because the postage put up the price by a pound so instead of 27 quid it's costing 28 quid and I have anouther 50 pound to add so yeah it's 78 pound that's like a year of pocket money
