I'm just not sure if stainless is up to the job, especially that thin? i know Ti wouldn't deform.

Ahh, I thought you were using Ti mainly for its toughness but if you're factoring in elasticity, then stainless will probably be more susceptible to bending so may not be useful. If you can't get hold of any suitable Ti, I'd suggest going for 3mm+ of steel and grinding an edge on it.

I've been trying to source the Ti from various companies but only had one reply. There doesn't seem to be a shop for it like there is for HDPE!

found some but it was MEGA expensive and i would then need to get it cut to size. Ideally, what id like is to find someone who could supply the pieces pre cut
