Relay and speed controller

I know this is the wrong forum for this but never mind-
What do most people use as a relay for the weapon motor on their ant weights?
Also are there any cheap speed controllers you can use for antweights so I don't have to use servos?

What type of weapon? I reckon most of them use brushless if its a spinner so would need an ESC for that, but at antweight level they're considerably cheaper than FW
