I've hacked my own TZ85A. If you are handy with a soldering iron then its quite easy. The TZ85A are also a nice small package and from all reports put up with alot of abuse
Wow, I may have to try this. Good to save a few quid. So have any one used these in combat? If so with what motors?

Loads of the Aussie featherweights use them with more or less 100% success I believe, and we have used them quite extensively in combat in Tormenta 2, with (here's hoping I don't jinx it) perfect results so far. We're running four 12v drills at 18v, hard. Hard enough to strip metal gears like we did the nylon ones last time. :wink:Originally Posted by Bodge Job

A tip on the programming is just put a spare pin onto the programmers GND lead then plug into the servo socket
- one less wire to solder
