    Bitza used 12v Argos drill motors and ran on 14.4v it was pretty powerful at first, but after only a few mins of test driving the motors/gearboxes de-graded to the point where we had to change them before our first comp. Then the ones we changed to only lasted one comp, so something of a false economy.

    I dunno if it was the motors of gearboxes that went but I didn't expect much more for £10 each.

    I do like the look of the Gimsons, my only concern is the low voltage of those Motors.

    Cicatrix runs argos motors on 19.2v and has done for 2 events plus demos, hasnt managed to kill any yet.

    Dont use those batteries, from memory, they cant deliver enough current, use the sub C sized ones instead.

    Its hard to tell what the meaning was there Max as I had already answered both questions
