Hdpe thickness

I know this had been a hundred times before but I can't find it- what thickness hdpe is needed for the base of a featherweight wedge/ram bot?

There's no set thickness, it's purely down to what's practical or what you want it to be. Unless you're using lipo packs, in which case it needs to be a 2mm or thicker metal base plate.

EDIT: On previous robots, I used 8mm thick stuff, as thinner stuff wasn't as rigid. But you could probably get away with 6mm if you wanted to.

I use 10mm chopping board (more like 8-9 actually) which isn't quite the same material. It flexes a little but it's well up to the job. What Jamie says sounds fine.
