Ah thats Inertia! So 2 900's it is then. Is the 4:1, if the motor does 6000 RPM the disc is doing 1500 RPM?

If the motor is at 12v, yes. If over volted, that number will increase.
Does any one know the rpm of a speed 900 on 24 volts?
Would it be double with 13,000 rpm? And thanks for the help so fat
If you double the voltage, you double the rpm and quadruple the torque. Or so I believe.
A Speed 900 at 12V gives 6500rpm unladen, so yes at 24V it will be 13,000rpm.
Using two motors won't increase the destructive capability of the spinning weapon (how much energy is stored/dispersed) but it certainly does help with spin-up time and also with keeping the disc or drum turning during/after impacts.
I made a dual Speed 900 drive for a disk a few years ago.
Ended up in Prodigy Evo.
Was rather impressive at 24V.
Ok thanks every one for your help, I think I know what I'm doing now
Are these the speed 900 replicas? If so, has any one got any experience with them? Are they as powerful and as fast as they say? And can they be over volted? Thanks, as this may help up, cheapen your new robot... Or should I stick with the good old reliable proper speed 900s? And any recommend any good speed controlers for it? A know the scorpion xxl would work, and the demention engineering duke thingy (scientific words I know) but is a cheaper alternative? Like a good quality controler? I think electronises are like £60? And I think I saw the scorpions for that price? Thanks
