You should be OK going from 18V to 22.2V (more when freshly charged of course), just ensure there's good airflow around the rear of the motor and if you're worried about current spikes damaging your circuitry then you could fit some fuses.

Taking a step back to the GR01's, could you run a single motor off one of Botbitz 25A escs? The voltage and ampage seem fine but I am just interested in a second opinion as they say they detailed as beetle controllers.

ScotBots are having trouble running anything off of them. When they do work they've worked fine for drill motors on 12v though, the motors cook long before the ESC does.

I couldn't say an absolute yes or no as I've never used them, it's also difficult to know whether the 25A rating is a realistic continuous capability or just the 'hobby' rating. This is especially true as the controllers are changed from brushless to brushed so are using fewer of the fets for switching and to dissipate heat. Then again the 85A brushless > brushed controllers have proved to be very hard wearing indeed.

The BotBitz BB25A-esc I have used in Eclipse seems not as capable nor sturdy as the TZ85 units.

If used in a robot I advice rigorous shock mounting and hotglue to secure the large caps.

24V 'Speed 550' Motors and 24V GR02 sets are now available through the website. As you will notice there are still further images and content to come but key product details are all there.

The 24V 24:1 ratio GR02's in particular would make top-class drive motors for featherweight robots with wheels up to 100mm, the higher operating voltage meaning power output and efficiency will surpass any normal drill motor while the gear ratio enables impressive top speeds.

If you've got any questions please let me know.

Your website appears to be down Ewan, if you don't know.

That's odd, still not working for you? I've not noticed any downtime and my host hasn't reported any faults today.
