Well i started off the day sorting my feather pinsor out, made a few changes to it that turned out to be an epic fail and couldn't face chopping up all my hard work in the same day so i decided to spend my last few hours sorting smidsy out instead

on the right is how the current drive setup was, and on the left is how i've changed it to free up space inside.

decided the stainless U sections that are inbetween the wheels are generally not doing anything useful so i chopped those off and they will be replaced with a box section square frame to the same dimensions as the stainless as it is far too flimsy.

there was a major bend in the front as well that I've straightened out with a massive hammer to its all near enough as it was new

below is the ram thats going to be going inside, decided im going to have the lifter to the side instead as that allows a 2kg gas bottle to go inside still leaving space for batteries and speedos at the back.

can't decide what i wana do in terms of the actual weapon though. i've turned the robot around so what was the back will now be the front. but im undecided if i should have the same old smidsy lifting jaw but running off pneumatics or a storm 2 style lifter or something Merlin style, not going to bother hardoxing the sides either because apart from kan opener whats gonna get the sides? so just gonna give it a hardox top
