    Hi all,
What regulators do people use for heavyweight pneumatic flippers/axes? I know the Trevor regulator is popular with featherweights but I thought I may be on the small side for heavies?

    victors or trevors.

Project One and Enderbot used heavy duty Gloor regulators, adapted from their line of high flow oxygen regulators.
Heavy mothers, and vurnable to liquid CO2, what caused the low pressure PRD to vent like mad.

Tough As nails uses a lot smaller regulator, one specific for CO2. But that too has problems with liquid CO2.

The only commercial regulator I never have seen to suffer, is the expensive Victor. (and one of the reasons I looked into FP, and stayed there)

Also what force and speed do heavyweight pneumatic axes have?

    100mm bore ram, 16bar max

Fed with as big a valve as possible.

And what about the power at the tip (the axe head) ?

  7. #7
That depends on leverage and flow.

Do fire extinguishers have regulators already fitted? If so what pressure do they regulate it down to and how do they cope with liquid co2?

they don't have regulators already fitted unfortunately
