Bending HDPE

I'm guessing the correct procedure is to use a heat gun, bend to desired angle and allow to set? I want to bend 12mm to around 30 degrees

not as simple as it sounds.

how wide is the piece you want to bend?

Say approx. 500mm long, 100mm tall, 12mm thick

Best bet is to make a bending mold from a sturdy wooden plank, and don't make the corner to sharp. (like a radius of 25-30mm)

Apply heatgun but don't overheat the HDPE, you don't want to melt it.
