Sounds good Will. Looking forward to seeing the photos
Very tempted to get my next components water jetted - I'm sure I would save money compared to the number of jigsaw blades I get through

Proof that we have finally made progress with the new heavy
Let me guess.....
its a push-bot
Seriously, they look big sheets of hardox.
What size of ram, and what weight of the thing itself?
The ram as it currently stands is 80mm bore, 200mm stroke but it will be shortened to 150mm.
The endcaps will also be changed to alumiunium as the current steel ones are very heavy and we need to add some extra inlets to the base. Dad has been working on this.
We do have all the stuff to change this to a 100mm bore ram but we'll see how it turns out as we want to get it running now.
If your going full pressure ali end caps may be a bit weak, the rams we made for mute and our new bot are the same design roughly and we use st/stl end caps, due to end caps being flat they must be thicker to with stand the pressure
Pics in mutes build thread thingy of our rams
Finally got round to wiring up Inversion ready for Colchester on sunday
Very BonX-esk :P Nice job
Thanks Tim, I can't claim credit for the shell but the spikes and innards are my own If it works anywhere near as well as Bonx I'll be happy!
It looks nothing like Bonx, the wheels are a totally different colour.
