These are DSM2 compatible so will work with a DX6i. They also give out no signal when communication with your transmitter is lost, so connecting external failsafes between your receiver and speed controllers should work. Having said that, Electronize 30A controllers should have their own built-in failsafes so technically no external plug-in failsafe would be required.
would i still need failsafes if the orange Rx doesn't give an output once the link has been lost?
