I am guessing that they're quite fast, since well, they drive fans. Of course, even if they spin at just 3000rpm, at 24v you're going to get more like 6000rpm, so either way it'll spin pretty fast.

I am really interested to know this. I have a stonkin' great one from an ancient landrover that weighs several tons, could be an epic axe drive motor!
