Thread: Bitza Mk2

Okay, I have no idea what happened there. When I searched for 'dsm2 compatible receiver' last night, I got tonnes of options with loads of them being around the £5 mark. That was the link I posted. But for some reason, it's now only showing six options around the £25 mark

And I think I just used an external failsafe between the battle-switch and the receiver. It's been a while since I had that setup, struggling to remember correctly!

I took out the word 'compatible' and got better results, still not as good as last night's search though for some reason.

These ones output no signal when communication is lost with the transmitter, so you can use external failsafes.

Perfik! Cheers Jamie, can I now be a pain and ask you to recommend a Fail Safe?

GiantCod doesn't appear to sell them oddly.....

Not sure if you can get them cheaper than this, but still cheaper than back in the day when they cost £20:

This is the type I use when needed. I think you just turn the transmitter and receiver on, make sure the channel you want to failsafe is set in the position you want it to failsafe to, press a button and that's it stored.

    Cheers Jamie.

I think he was meaning How much did they used to cost?!

Yup, I seem to remember they were around the £15-£20 mark. But this was before the days of GiantCod and dirt-cheap RC equipment, when a receiver could easily set you back £30 or more!

No my how much was at the £8!

I believe that will make it the single most expensive component to be put in Bitza2.....

    I stand corrected then
Had a look through eBay and there doesn't seem to be any cheaper versions kicking about. Think you might have to drain your bank account for this one

Looks like I'm asking the bank for an overdraft extension..........

    Thanks for the help.
