Can't put tape on it as it moves too much. Tried to show that in the last picture but may not have worked too well. It did have an Asda bag over it just to keep the oil off the floor.

The plastic the tank is made from can't be repaired I would suggest you look for another one, the best person to ask about this would be Andy Kane (Kan Opener) I would try to get some advice on were you can get it from.
Ah- thought youd just drilled a cap in the lid, not done that...
As craig said its probably easier to replace... looks like a standard olive/compression fitting going onto the bladder from the copper pipe...
Ahh well, it was worth an ask anyway. I'll get in touch with Andy and see what he recommends
