Thanks Dave......there will be a lot of money, effort and time going into it and i know you can relate to that. The good thing about it is that i can use it for other things than fighting robots. Just for jollys of course.
Get it built before it starts snowing, rent it out as an rc drive cleaner :P
LOl.....great minds eh....I didnt want to say but thats one of the weapons that will be on it....tho it wont be a weapon just a plow. There are vids on youtube of others that have done the same where i got the idea from. Tis a reason its being built from stainless steel mate. :) Another is a big shovel for moving piles of shingle. Another is to put one of them push lawn mowers on it and cut the grass. A few more but i wont go on. got to have some surprises videos to show havent I. :) Anyway Dave it was good to see you just a shame i didnt really get to chat. another time ok :)
Whats your planned completion date ? The arm mech is looking good but far from a complete robot just yet :).
planned completion date summer 2012.... then thats another £50 you owe me swanny !!
They are just a few bits I know....Pictures really to show off the lambert Powerdrive. I know its a long shot but hopefully maidstone. if its not ready for them i shall bring along what i have done.
so thats why you bought an etek off me
Secret out.....Actually the Etek i bought from you was for the job but was just too big. Will use a mag motor to start with and upgrade later if we think we need it. Mr Hoppitt recons the mag will be more than powerful enough...it might be but will see. :)
there is no such thing as having too much power Swanny! if you can fit the Etek in, then do it
I finished Scrap Dog and I'm using my last Etek to make a hammer bot once I finish Tanto, Etek's may be old tech but they have plenty of power
