What link is best for a feather 30amp or 50 amp?

Dan, the marine controllers should be ok as long as they can handle both the voltage and current you will put through them.

I would look at battery packs in the region of 9.6v up to 12v with a capacity of 2Ah to 3Ah.

Either link will be fine. I would go for the 50amp link if you have the space/weight available for it.
