Information
Sabre Tooth is a heavyweight robot that was built by Gabriel Stroud from Surrey. The first version was built in 2001 for the Fifth series of Robot Wars where it fell in the first round to Evolution. It was then rebuilt again the following year for Series 6 which a vertical spinning disc which sheared in the qualifiers so the team replaced it with a motorbike wheel to help with pushing. But the robot lost the first round as it stood little chance against Terrorhurtz. Version 3 was built for Series 7 and did better in its qualifier battle where it won a discretionary place, but due to the power of the disc having to be toned down to comply with the rules, the team didn't have enough time and withdrew.
